Not long ago I commented on how many Google services I use, and what not.
This week Google started accepting sign-ups for their newest service: Google Spreadsheets.

I guess they are really taking over the desktop. By far, this is one of the biggest show-offs to admit that our Desktops are indeed their final destination, their final goal.
Also, I recently started using another two Google thingies: the Notebook, the Reader, and the Google Dashboard Widgets for Mac.
They are all very cool. But I guess we already knew that. =)

OK, I was trying to be friendly by letting anyone to post comments in this blog without registering, but apparently you can’t do that because spammers will come and corrupt everything you do to make your blog more user friendly and less restricting.
None of the ’spamments’ have gone through, fortunately, but it is just annoying to get notifications that X or Y comment is waiting to be moderated, ergo, deleted.
If anyone has any ideas on how to deter these e-diots, can you please let me know? I will kindly appreciate it.
Sorry, but for now, if you want to comment, you’ll have to be a signed-in user. =(
Update: you no longer need to register to leave comments. Thumbs up Akismet!

I was reading Sara’s adventures with insects, and I quickly pseudo-researched about Minnesota’s mosquitoes because I heard people say that the Mosquito is Minnesota’s Official State Bird quite a few times.
This is just bad reputation, because Officially Officially, the Loon is the State Bird.
And another difference is that everybody likes Loons… hardly anyone cares for mosquitoes.
I can’t stand them… and I am thankful that DEET exists.
