Yesterday, I watched An Inconvenient Truth. You should watch it… No, Seriously… go watch it.
I’ve never been fan of Al Gore, but I am telling you that the movie is good, and it’s quite scary.
The statistics are shocking, pollution levels, de-icing on the poles, population levels, weather rage, gas efficiency (not quite efficient), and so on… Not that I didn’t know we had a problem… A big big problem… But it is always tough when they remind you about it.
Ironically (or coincidentally) David Shea posted an interesting link that depicts a cool relation between pixels and population, and how you are represented among 6.5 billion* pixels.
So, please forget about politics… go watch the movie this weekend!
[*]1 Billion = 1000 million

The debate on Net Neutrality continues, and while this happens, the series of tubes keep getting filled with audio and video clips featuring Senator Stevens.
Last night, John Stewart hosted John Hodgman (AKA. The PC)… The video will be sent to you through a tube… I mean… YouTube.

I found an awesome article on ESPN, and Mr. Simmons basically nails it…
“European soccer stands out because of the superhuman energy of its fans — the chants and songs, the nonstop cheering, the utter jubilation whenever anything good happens, how the games seem to double as life-or-death experiences — and I can’t help but wonder if that same trait has been sucked out of our own sports for reasons beyond our control.”

And also that’s why European Soccer is probably the best in the world.
It’s so sad that the World Cup is over!

I’ve been waiting for this movie for at least 1 year… it is now on current release… and through Joey Interactive I’ve been able to watch the first 24 minutes of the movie… sweet!
The concept of how the movie is presented to you is great… it’s half ani… It’s just different… go take a look at it… Not to mention that it sports quite a cast: Keanu Reeves, Robert Downey Jr., Winona Ryder, Woody Harrelson, and what not.
It has been on ‘Limited Release’ since July 7th… I don’t live in a ‘Limited Release’ city… but one theather near enough is showing it now. Yay!
Enjoy.

A few months ago, I found a cool new feature from Google, your own Domain-branded Gmail interface (screenshot below).

You only need to sign-up with your domain and when they give you access, you’ll then have to change the MX records of your DNS through either your Domain registrar or your web hosting provider.
Of course, it is free, and it has all the features of Gmail.
One thing that is missing is a personalized URL for the branded email like http://mail.your-domain-here.com, right now it is something like: http://mail.google.com/hosted/your-domain-here.com, they say that they keep improving it… and who knows, maybe the’ll have that at some point. =)
